The publishing and literary world often feels like a closed shop to outsiders or to aspiring writers trying to break in. Many courses offer ‘workshopping’ but beyond that no advice on which ideas to pursue, how to finish a novel, how to keep going, how to feel inspired, how to write a second one, how to find and submit to agents, how to meet readers, how to get work adapted for screen. There are indeed industry secrets, or insider information, that would help demystify the process. What are the secrets every writer should know? All will be revealed!
SEVEN SECRETS is a course suitable for all writers. You might be a debut author, published, or an absolute beginner.
This online monthly class, led by me – Jill Dawson – will share what I have learned in my four decades as a published author, as well as my magical tips and exercises for increasing your creativity, confidence and joy as a writer.
SEVEN SECRETS will help you write better; it will help with structuring your work in progress; approaching agents and screen-producers and dealing with sales and marketing for your work; increasing and deepening your creative output, exploring magical tools like tarot and active imagination, and ultimately helping you to lead to a more joyous and fulfilling writing life. You will be part of a curated and selected group – this is by invitation only – of talented writers from all over the world.
